How to enable Facebook Comments for merchants?


Step 1Click on Connect Facebook Business



Step 2 : Click on Login with Facebook / Continue as Username





Step 3 :  Select the FB Page linked to your Facebook Business Account, and click Continue





Step 4 : Select the Facebook Account and click Continue




Step 5 : Click on SAVE



Step 6 : Check COMMENT and click SUBMIT 




Note : 


  1. Dependencies 
    • For Comments, the general Facebook Pre-requisites are applicabl
    • An Facebook Professional Account (either Creator or Business account).
    • A Facebook Page connected to that Facebook account.
    • Enable the setting Access to Messages in the Facebook account.
    • Steps: Settings > Privacy > Messages > Enable Allow Access 
    • Messages.
  2. Limitations
    • Ability to initiate DM from the chat panel
  3. User guide - How to access 
    • Using Comment on Chat Panel
      • On the chat panel, you will see Facebook Comments as a new Channel
      • The conversation thread essentially contain the post details on which the Comment has been made, the username and link to the post should you wishto go the post on Facebook.
      • Replying from here, will basically reply on the Comment thread in public on
        the Facebook post
