Prerequisites

Estimated Duration
~30 minutes
Step-by-Step Guide
1) Import Lists & Segments (KwikEngage)
Go to KwikEngage → Settings → Klaviyo.
Click Import to fetch available Lists and Segments from Klaviyo.
Select the items you want to sync and click Next/Confirm.
Result: Selected Lists appear under Lists; Segments appear under Segments in KwikEngage.
2) Turn On Auto Sync
For each imported segment (and/or list), toggle Auto Sync: ON.
Set a frequency (e.g., Daily).
Why: Keeps audiences fresh for sending without manual updates.
3) Create a Campaign (KwikEngage)
Go to Campaigns → New Campaign.
Enter a Campaign Name.
Choose your Audience from the imported Klaviyo Lists/Segments.
Select a WhatsApp template, configure send settings, and Publish.
Result: Messages send per your schedule to the synced audience.
Technical Details
Data scope: KwikEngage pulls only the fields needed to message and personalize (e.g., phone number, first name, consent flags, and any fields referenced by your template).
Auto Sync cadence: Typically daily; choose a higher frequency if you need fresher audiences.
Deduping: Audiences are deduped by profile identifier as configured in your integration.
Consent handling: Ensure your audience includes only users with valid WhatsApp marketing consent.
Troubleshooting
Nothing imports: Recheck Klaviyo connection in Settings and retry Import.
Missing profiles: Confirm the profiles actually exist in the selected Klaviyo list/segment and have phone numbers.
Out-of-date audience: Verify Auto Sync is ON and last sync timestamp is recent; you can also run a Manual Sync if available.
Sends failing: Ensure phone numbers are in an accepted format and your WhatsApp template variables match available profile fields.
Best Practices
Start with segments, not broad lists: Targeted segments improve deliverability and relevance.
Keep naming consistent: Use the same or similar names for Klaviyo segments and KwikEngage audiences.
Guardrails: Add consent checks or suppression rules to avoid messaging non-opt-in profiles.
Staggered sends: For large audiences, consider batching to monitor performance and deliverability.
Key Takeaways
Import lists/segments from Klaviyo, turn on Auto Sync to keep them fresh, and build campaigns in KwikEngage using those synced audiences for targeted WhatsApp outreach.
