How it works?

WhatsApp has verified that an authentic, notable brand owns this account.

WhatsApp’s criteria for WhatsApp Official Business Accounts (OBA) is based on a number of factors and is different from policies on other platforms. In addition to following WhatsApp's Commerce and Business Policies, businesses need to be:

1. Notable: Represents a well-known business, often searched brand or entity
2. Verified: Has gone through Business Verification, and
3. 2FA: Has set up two-step verification (We ensure that is setup through it’s embedded signup flow for setting up WABA itself)

How to apply for Green Tick?

1. Login to your Facebook business manager and go to ‘Business settings’
2. Click on ‘WhatsApp accounts’
3. Search by your brands name or WABA ID in the search block
4. Click on ‘Settings’, scroll down and click on WhatsApp manager
5. Click on the name of the brand which is the hyper link, highlighted in Blue
6. Click on ‘Submit Request’, which would open up a dialogue box
7. Now fill the form where you need to ‘Request official business account’
8. Now add upto 5 PR links regarding your brand (Please ensure that the links are not paid or promotional in nature. Also, it is better if the publication is a reputed one as the chances of accepting those are higher)
9. Now add the link of the Facebook Page
10. Click on ‘Submit’.
11. Wait for 2-3 days for WhatsApp team to process your request.
